Have you ever considered the idea of being on a raw food diet? The mere mention of this suggestion may surprise many people as most people do not even think about it. Why should I choose such a diet? What is the benefit of this? These are questions many people would like answered.
The food we eat and the way we cook it affects our bodies in multiple ways. Eating a diet high in fat and high cholesterol can lead to the development of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), hypertension (high blood pressure levels) and heart disease.
If the person has a sedentary lifestyle and is constantly bombarded with stress and emotional ups and downs, the case worsens.

| Meatless Variations |
Three years ago I decided to go "meatless". It wasn't a difficult decision as I wasn't a non-vegetarian in the beginning, although there were a few recipes that I remembered that included meat and I was wondering how I would live without these favourites.
Rather than resign myself to the notion that these recipes can never be converted to a meatless state, I decided to pull myself by my vegetarian bootstring (cotton, of course), and see if I found these recipes. Can find a way to replace meat- is for the meatless.
My first Grammy's recipe for American Chop Sue was, in fact, almost everyone's Grammy's made variations of it or something. I tried different ways but this comes closest:

The Moosewood Cookbook and The Enchanted Broccoli Forest followed, and then an avalanche of cookbooks devoted to vegetarian food.
Chili seasonings bring out the best in vegetables and beans; your family and friends will never miss the meat. You can improvise with these recipes, using whatever type of beans you like, and adding or subtracting other ingredients to match your personal preferences. You can always freeze any leftovers.
