Easy recipe with chicken wings

 Easy recipe with chicken wings

Being from Buffalo, NY I've eaten my fair share of chicken wings. Fall is when all of our sports begin, especially hockey and soccer season. It's time to visit friends' homes or entertain in your own home.

Of course, the number 1 food at most parties is chicken wings, followed by pizza. I know there are 100 ways to make chicken wings and I'm sure most of them are pretty good. The recipe I want to share with everyone tastes great, but almost as important as the great taste of these wings is the simplicity of making them. Perhaps they are also healthier, because they are baked in the oven.

The first thing is to go to your local dollar store and buy some disposable baking pans, and get the size you want. I would suggest the larger ones to make your lasagna with, I think works best.

This is the basic recipe for a 2 1/2 lb. Chicken wings on medium heat.

Preheat the oven to 425 Fahrenheit

2 1/2 pounds chicken wings, cut in two so you have 1 part wings and 1 small part with the appearance of thighs, just spread the wing apart and cut into 2 pieces.

1/2 cup of buffalo hot sauce we use frank's red hot sauce, which this recipe has on the bottle.

Melt the margarine then add the hot sauce. When the wings are cooked through, eliminate them from the broiler. Then add the hot sauce to the skillet with the wings and gently stir or stir the wings into the sauce.

A great way to serve them is in a low or warm crock pot so they stay nice and warm for your party.

Only regular blue cheese dressing is good, use a bottle of ranch dressing and add your own fresh blue cheese. Celery and carrot sticks and you're ready to party. The best part is there are no sinks to clean. Believe me I tried this method with my own foil lined pans and they were still a mess.

I hope you will enjoy these suites in your next meeting.

FAQ

Is it better to fry or bake chicken wings?
Chicken wings have a higher skin-to-meat ratio than any other popular cut of chicken. This is why they are so tasty. Deep frying makes them crispy, to be sure, but it also ruins the flavor of the skin. Roasting, on the other hand, caramelizes the skin and renders the fat, creating a more complex flavor.

What is the best way to bake chicken wings?
Preheat oven to 400°F. Drain the chicken wings and oil. Place the wings skin side down on a wire rack on a baking sheet, taking care not to crowd the wings. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Are wings considered a cheat meal?
"By baking chicken wings and using a low-fat hot sauce, they don't have to be considered a cheat meal at all." "The bad reputation of this cheat meal stems from the quality of the oil it's deep fried in and the coating used to make the bread," explains Mansella. But that doesn't mean you'll never get it.
